At Duftkumpels there is only Extrait de Parfum (XDP). No EDTs, no EDPs. That decision is a stance: only at extrait strength do oud, ambergris, deer musk, castoreum and other natural raw materials reveal their full complexity.
What defines Extrait de Parfum
- 25-40% fragrance oil concentration (mainstream EDP: 15-20%).
- Longevity: 10-16 hours on skin, 2-3 days on clothing.
- Projection: Its own aura within 1-3 metres – without ever becoming intrusive.
- Layered development: Top, heart and base in profound depth.
- Hand-blended: Small batches, often limited editions.
Our compositions
From Al Hayvaan XDP (deer musk · ambergris · oud) and Tonkin Sunset XDP (oud · tonka · vanilla) to Habana Cocoa XDP (tobacco · cocoa) and the castoreum heavyweights Bärleen and BärLEEN X-Treme. Each fragrance is a world of its own.
Materials with history
Genuine ambergris, deer musk from CITES-certified sources, oud sourced directly from distillers. Everything declared, traceable, sustainable.
