Contrary to the otherwise powerful, uncompromising and strong-charactered signature of AttarG, a creation of extraordinary elegance emerged here – inspired by an Italian gentleman of the old school.

A man whose presence never needs to be loud, because it already fills the room.

Powdery amber accords, fine leather, dry woods, matured patchouli and precious oud merge into a composition that is at once cultivated, mysterious and powerfully masculine.

A fragrance for men whose presence says more than words ever could.

This creation has a history of the kind that only very rarely comes about in today's perfumery.

The basic DNA of this fragrance was created in an extraordinary collaboration between two German perfumers.

For three days, Georg Staudt of MGO Duftanker and AttarG of Duftkumpels worked side by side, shut away in the MGO fragrance workshop. Together they created the foundation of this composition – every single nuance was discussed, discarded, reinterpreted and finally perfected.

Afterwards, both perfumers went their own way again.

Each completed the fragrance with his own personal signature.

While Georg Staudt followed his own olfactory philosophy, AttarG could not resist his passion for rare agarwood.

High-quality Oud Mai Sweet Thai from Thailand became the missing piece of the puzzle and gave this interpretation that unmistakable soul for which Duftkumpels is known worldwide.

Thus, from the same idea, two completely different characters emerged – connected by their shared origin and separated by the personality of their creators.

Not so iAVARONE AMBRE ROYALE.

Here AttarG deliberately chose a different language.

Not quieter.
But more sovereign.

During the joint work with Georg Staudt on the basic DNA of this composition, AttarG kept thinking of a long-standing Italian friend – a man whose name gave this creation its title.

A gentleman in the truest sense of the word.

A man with blond hair, exceptionally clear, sky-blue eyes and an athletic yet powerful appearance.

A personality with a calm aura, impeccable manners and a self-assurance that needs to be neither loud nor intrusive to leave an impression.

He is one of those people about whom stories are told – a character whose mysterious aura leaves room for legends and about whose past one had better not ask questions.

Precisely this special blend of respect, dignity, strength and mysterious presence was to be translated into fragrance.

Strong – but never coarse.
Masculine – but never intrusive.
Elegant – but never ordinary.

Thus a composition was born whose dry amber accords, fine leather, powdery facets and precious woods reflect exactly that aura which AttarG associates with this Italian gentleman.

The opening surprises even experienced connoisseurs of the Duftkumpels signature.

Instead of beginning with an overwhelming wave of scent, iAVARONE AMBRE ROYALE opens with elegant leather nuances that immediately bond with powdery amber accords.

Matured patchouli provides a dry elegance, while bergamot and orange lend a fine, cultivated freshness.

In the heart, the real magic begins.

Labdanum Absolute merges with patchouli, Cashmeran, Hedione and ISO E Super into an exceptionally harmonious structure.

Modern molecular perfumery meets precious natural essences and creates a scent picture full of depth, warmth and comfort.

Guaiac wood, Texas cedarwood and spicy cinnamon leaf lend the composition stability and character, while vanillin binds all the facets together.

Finally, the Oud Mai Sweet Thai rises.

Not animalic.
Not overwhelming.

Particularly worthy of mention is the Oud Mai Sweet Thai used, which AttarG personally selected during a raw-material expedition through Thailand and brought to Germany.

This extraordinary agarwood displayed a rare floral, lively and almost extroverted radiance.

Qualities that are only rarely encountered in this form among high-grade oud qualities.

Equally extraordinary is the Labdanum Absolute from Spain, whose warm, resinous depth gives the characteristic amber accords their noble structure.

The patchouli from Indonesia, matured for several years, rounds off the composition with its dry, spicy elegance.

The union of modern molecules with extraordinary natural essences creates that balance of longevity, projection, sillage and elegance which discerning perfume connoisseurs around the world seek.

The first batch of iAVARONE AMBRE ROYALE comprises a mere 90 ml.

Not because we wanted to create an artificial limitation, but because of some of the raw materials used we simply had no more material available.

Whether and when a second batch will be made depends – as with all creations from the house of Duftkumpels – on whether the Almighty blesses us once again with the availability of these extraordinary raw materials and our coming raw-material expeditions prove successful.

Should a further batch be made, it will in all probability never smell exactly like this first edition, despite an identical recipe.

Natural raw materials change over the years. New harvests have their own character and matured essences develop their own scent signature.

Welcome to the world of genuine artisanal niche perfumery.

Here no batch is identical to another down to the smallest detail.

That is precisely what makes every bottling an authentic witness of its time of creation.

Of the first 90 ml, 30 ml have already been allocated.

Anyone who wishes to experience this original interpretation of iAVARONE AMBRE ROYALE should not assume that it will return unchanged in the future.

If the Almighty allows us a further batch, it will tell its own story.

As only natural raw materials can.

Not every creation returns.
And even if the Almighty permits it, it will never again be exactly the same.
