Duftkumpels is Hamburg's address for handmade extrait de parfum with 100% natural raw materials. Since 2013 we have been creating limited niche perfumes in the Hanseatic city – for connoisseurs looking for the real thing.

Hamburg as a fragrance metropolis

For centuries Hamburg has been Germany's gateway to the world. Spices, tea, coffee – and fragrance materials – arrived through its port. Oud from Cambodia, Deer musk from the Himalayas, Ambergris from the coasts of the Indian Ocean – the most precious raw materials of perfumery land in Hamburg and are turned into art here.

Duftkumpels continues this tradition. Our atelier at Möllner Landstraße 117A, 22117 Hamburg, is where every flacon is blended, matured and filled by hand.

Our range

  • Extrait de Parfum (XDP): 25–40% fragrance oil. Hand-blended compositions with oud, deer musk, ambergris, castoreum. From €49/10 ml.
  • Pure oud oils: 100% Aquilaria distillates from Cambodia, Thailand, Assam, Borneo. Documented and traceable.
  • Attars: Alcohol-free perfume oils in the oriental tradition. Halal, 40–100% fragrance oil.
  • Bespoke creations: Your individual perfume, made to measure in Hamburg.
