Fragrance progression

Invisible Orange begins to work immediately after the first spray:
The pheromoneal aura of Himalayan deer musk immediately rises from the bottle, closely interwoven with Wild Kashmeran – a Kashmeran variant developed by Attar specifically for fragrance enthusiasts.

This Wild Kashmeran is deliberately conceived differently: more delicate in texture, with greater sillage, yet longer-lasting and distinctly more animalic in its dry-down. Combined with Himalayan deer musk – one of the rarest raw materials in perfumery – it creates an almost mythical quality. Comparable to a unicorn's horn, this musk is unattainable for most perfumers. Political and religious tensions, as well as decades of conflict between the military and warlords, make access to these regions virtually impossible.

Through years of training in local perfumery and close relationships with tribal chiefs, for whom he developed custom creations, Attar gains access to these qualities. The hunters involved kill a maximum of two to three animals per season and utilize the entire animal – from horns and hide to meat, organs, and even the musk gland. This Kashmir quality is irreplaceable.

The character of this fragrance is deliberately paradoxical:
Soft, supple, almost powdery and ethereal – and at the same time animalistic, present, and exceptionally long-lasting. Charming rather than loud, calm rather than demanding.

Later, blood orange from Italy and white grapefruit from the USA are added. They lend the composition a delicate, vibrant freshness in the top note, without seeming fleeting. Ambergris from the Bahamas takes on its classic role as a natural fixative: it significantly extends the shelf life of all the raw materials and preserves the freshness of the citrus notes far beyond what is usually expected.

The 2008 vintage patchouli, obtained through fractionation in Indonesia, remains almost invisible. It acts as a mediator between the animalic musk notes and the fruity-floral accents, without pushing itself to the forefront.

The foundation is Mysore sandalwood (Santalum album) from India, distilled in 2021. Its creamy, calm structure unites all elements into a harmonious whole.

Ambergris adds a three-dimensional depth to the composition – comparable to a rainbow where the colors dissolve into each other and no clear boundaries are visible.
