They are distinctive, long-lasting, and almost always come in smaller, more beautiful packaging. When you give one, you are giving something the recipient almost certainly cannot find at their local department store.
There is also a practical advantage. Because extraits use more oil per millilitre, a 30 ml bottle lasts as long as a 100 ml designer EdP. Better performance, smaller object, more thoughtful gesture.

What to Avoid When Gifting Niche Perfume
